Manufacturer's Description of the Atomic Drive 9:

"The versatile groomed slope ski. The titanium transmitters and twin punched aluminum stabilizers absorb negative oscillations. That means a completely new smoothness at the same time as easy-turning agility and a completely new level of skiing enjoyment."

Ski-Review's Verdict:

The Drive 9 will deliver them over and through the ice and late day “crud” with confidence. When a ski boosts your confidence, you ski more relaxed and balanced, so improvement comes easily and you can ski longer with less fatigue.

Atomic’s "U-Turn" construction is easily explained. Vibrations are eliminated as they occur, giving the ski a smooth ride, while the stabilizer directs power to the forebody (shovel) maximizing energy transfer and saving the skiers energy. The Drive 9 and the Drive 11 share this technology and offer skiers a unique blend of  FUN and performance in skis that will actually help them to ski better, longer and with more confidence.
