We are always happy to meet skiing royalty, so Duncan was pleased to catchup with skiing legend Glen Plake once again under the bright lights at ISPO.

Pictured below is Glen complete with his 'mohawk du jour' and, being part of Elan's elite team of professionals, the rather fat Elan 1010 which is new to the lineup for 2010. The 1010 is an addition to the popular Freeride series, and slots in between the swallow-tailed 1111 (Quad One) and the 999, 888 and 777.

Size wise, the Elan 1010 ALU comes in at 140-110-130 and a somewhat irrelevant 22.5m turning radius in the 176. Also available in 183 (23.9) and 190 (26.1).
