Nice easy feel with a balanced flex and performance side cut make the Attiva Sol almost effortless to control. Precise turns at any radius boost the confidence level simply because Volkl's Sol does what you ask it to, and does it easily.

Volkl Attiva Sol

The "Sol" was received with some pretty deep affection by some of our test team. "Made me a better skier" and "Wow, it's like I don’t have to work at all" made the Sol a must have for the improving skier who needs confidence so that performance can follow and offer some rapid improvement without too much effort.

The Attiva Sol is another one of those "power steering" skis that simply makes it easier for Women to feel better about their skiing, and invites the skier to explore terrain that may have been previously avoided.

An easy ski to improve on & fun.

Really are great skis

These skis really do boost confidence. They turn and go on edge easily and bust through choppy snow.

Improved my speed & confidence

I am an intermediate skier and have not improved for many years until I started skiing on my Volkl Sols last year. Turns are easier and the skis are so stable that I picked up speed without even noticing how much faster I am skiing now. I love them!

Demoed these skis on Feb 13 (151cm lengt

I am 165cm and weighted 120lb. These skis felt stiff. I did carved turns. The skis were stable and fast on cruds. However, my thighs felt tired quite fast. I have had a better experience when I demoed a set of Exclusive Legend.

I find the Sols do not hold an edge as well as I am used to for midwest conditions, but my other skis are GS skis, which are much stiffer and harder on the knees. I have been skiing my friend's Nordica Victorys, which do grip better on ice. But they are heavier to carry, as well, and the older ones have obnoxious, semi-obsene graphics.

The quest for the perfect ski continues....
