Atomic Gives Birth To Triplets Atomic,
brand leader in Alpine skis used by top stars like Bode Miller and
Hermann Maier, is introducing a radically new line of skis for the ever
growing wave of freeride and freestyle skiers. The new Atomic
Triplets range provides three skis for the price of two – offering
outstanding value, unprecedented cutting edge style and phenomenal
durability; three factors critical to success in the twin-tip ski
market. There are two models of Triplets available – the Urban
Triplets and the HP Triplets (Half Pipe). The skis defy twin tip
convention - because a pair of Triplets is not really a pair in the
traditional sense but three skis with bindings. By offering three
skis Atomic are giving riders continuity if they break or damage a ski
in the pipe or park. Each Triplet ski also comes with its own
individual graphic, which means that there are six stylish combinations
that the skier can use.

A pair (!) of Atomic Triplets HP. 3 skis per pair as standard... The
Urban Triplets deliver unprecedented durability through Rail Slide
Reinforcement (RSR) technology. RSR provides an additional edge
underneath the rider’s feet that is flush with the base and 1cm from
each edge. This extra edge, combined with a rock hard ceramic
base material running down between the two edges, means that not only
is the outside edge more protected against the sharpest rails, but it
will also improve any rail rider’s confidence and stability as it
provides more feel and control. “The Triplets are a great
freestyle ski that is just as much at home in the park, in the air or
in the powder,” said Atomic’s Jason Summerfield. “By offering riders a
third ski means that should they unfortunately damage one ski then the
remaining ski doesn’t become obsolete.” “The freestyle market
is a growth area in the sport and Atomic is looking to extend its
market leadership further with these exciting new products,” he added. Both
the Urban Triplets and the HP Triplets come in 3 lengths: 163/172/183
cm. The Urban Triplets have an RRP of £399.95 - £419.99 and the HP
Triplets an RRP of £379 - £399.95 depending on bindings.
