These look like a world of fun, as pretty much any thing mid-fat or
larger does these days – looking forward to essentially the fatter
sister of the standard Dynastar Trouble Maker.
Model: Dynastar Big Trouble Size(cm) / Radius(m): 176/20 186/23 Sidecut: 124-92-114 Length tested: 186 Manufacturer's Description: "For riders looking to take their New School technique to the backcountry." Ski-Review's verdict: Snow conditions: Waste deep powder. These are just amazing! Turn initiation on these skis was rather slow but as the ski has plenty of flex you really can’t expect a lightening response, The Big Trouble is extremely balanced -- popping 180’s of rollers and riding switch was as hard as you made it. Carving
on the Big was similar to the slimmer Trouble Maker sibling -- they
behave just like the little brother with the obvious extra lift in the
pow. I took these skis trough the trees so the route was more
dictated to me that not; I found I was able to react very quickly with
the plenty of stability and being able to maintain direction. These skis are fun and it comes in spades. Happy on most types of snow. Conclusion Went
off piste with some others who where itching to have a go on these and
see why I was so happy. I made one of the biggest mistakes of my
life and let them have a go -- I did not get them back - enough said. Wicked, but sadly I shared. And of course Dynastar have done well…again!

Just brought a pair of 176 BT's at the end on the seasson. I knew they were 5* in the big stuff but what really amazed me was how good they were on peist. Not for the lazzy mind you, having riden on some Pocket Rockets before you had to work the BT's to get the GS carve but this just added to the enjoyment! | Sick Nasty Written by Ski Review Guest on 2006-10-27 17:43:52
I just bought these skis and I've already fallen in love! These skis perform perfect from the heaviest snow, all the way to the iciest slopes. And I definately recommend them to any park skiier. | Big Trouble Written by Ski Review Guest on 2006-11-02 22:38:47

BT's are nice midfats with a 92 waist. It has a medium flex to it. The new 06-07 version has sick graphics and color scheme. Dynastar Big Trouble gear review by Brian | Mounting Written by Ski Review Guest on 2007-07-02 03:45:06
People have been telling me to mount them 2-3 cm back from the mid point. | powder Written by Ski Review Guest on 2007-10-20 00:50:37
