I never thought I’d prefer skiing the general version of a ski over the race stock model. The Pro GS takes a really nice GS ski and makes them substantially easier to initiate the turn and feel much more stable edge to edge.

Ski-Review’s verdict:

We shot down busy, slushy runs without the feeling that any time soon a collision with a  French guy in a one piece was imminent. I was very surprised with how nicely the Pro GS ‘cut’ through the slush – surprisingly stable at high speeds.

These are 100% on piste speed machines. I wouldn’t want to take these into powder unless you’ve got real champagne powder and can just ski underneath it. These just get on the edge and stay there.  If you learnt to ski over 7-8 years ago and haven’t had any refresher lessons you don’t want to try and ski on the Pro GS or anything like it. This is one ski that needs to be skied as a carve ski to feel what they are all about. Any other way and you’ll just be impressed by the speed at which you can slow down and catch an edge.
