The Metron 10 are wider than the Metron 7.

Much better than Metron 7

I am an aggressive advanced skier, and I was able to demo both the Metron 7 and 10. By far, the better ski (for me) was the Metron 10, I pushed it as hard as I could and it never let go on me. Excellent ski. I wish I could have tried the 9 and B5 to compare.

Ski in western Canada. Great ski - if I had to pick one of the lot it would be the M10 (also have Salomon SR10 160, Volkl 6-star 161, and Fischer RC4 WC SC 160).

Holds its edge (even on some of the icier conditions we experience at some of the resorts we ski) carves beautifully - short and medium .

Very forgiving ski - will not punish mistakes too severely. I am somewhat lighter (150 lbs) and am 5'10" . I don't have any negative to say about this ski. Recommended to me by Out-of-Bounds in Edmonton, Alberta

I have just come back from Switzerland where I purchased a set of Metron 10's. They are a very forgiving all mountain ski. They hold to the max on the ice and in the powder they simply allowed me to enjoy it for the first time. A much more responsive ski on piste than the 9. It is hard to see where the developments can go from here. I am 80kg and think that they are brill!!

like 9 better

i only found the 10s to be stiffer, yet not more responsive. i found the 9 better for my style. the 9 was a better all around ski, better in pow due to softer tip yet held just as good on ice. the 10 was better in slush and heavy snow. both skis rip and seem to get only better with speed. i never found eithers limit. the 10 is to stiff in the bumps and makes for a little more work throughout the day. i skied both in the 171 size and im only 150lbs. so a heavier skier might prefer the 10, but i had to buy the 9. no regrets!

Great all around ski

I tested the B5's, M10's and M11's. I bought the B5's and I love them, but they are a bit much on my small mountain. They love to fly, and on the weekends where I ski, its just not do-able. I Got a good deal on the M10's, and have not taken out my B'5 this season. The M10's are softer, flex easier, but return 90% of what the B5's can do. I never warmed up to the 11's.

I have just purchased a pair of 2008 Atomic Metrons. These are my first metrons ever, and the best skis i've skied on. The turn radius is amazing, and they handle perfectly on trail and off piste.
