This set of 3 skis is designed purely for pipe riding. Extra pop and durability are some features on these. Atomic Triplets HP gear review by “xcjamie” |

These skis come in 3 instead of 2. They have a flex perfect for pipe and good edge hold. They are lively and poppy. Triplets gear review by Brian |

Found a great deal on these skis but I am not sure these are the skis for me. I am a expert skier but traded a snowboard for skis a few years back. I like moguls and jumps, but also like the steeps. Never ventured into a park but would like too. How would these skis perform outside of the park? |
Atomic Triplets - New Park Rider Written by Ski Review Guest on 2007-02-25 05:40:54
I just picked up a pair of these in the 172 length and have found them a ton of fun, especially for the price. I have always been a back country/steep groomer rider, but I decided to give the rails and jumps a go. These skis are really easy to stay balanced on (with the center mount), and surprisingly enough they can carve quite well. I found them really easy to ski on (outside the park) over crud, slush, and thin ice. They have a moderate amount of sidecut, but once I started to really get moving my edges would start giving out. I paid $160 for a pair of these (not a set of 3) and I couldn't be happier with the price to performance ratio-in and out of the park. |

I just picked up a pair of these for only $150 (got a discount cause i took 2 instead of 3). I couldn't be happier, with the center mount riding switch is too easy. It has a ton of pop, and its abillity to carve really suprised me. It starts to slide out at high speeds, but i was holding my edge untill i hit some of the super steep stuff. Super fun in the park, and definately good enough everywhere else on the mountain. Highly reccomended. |
