Great ski Written by Ski Review Guest on 2007-02-21 00:37:44
I am an intermediate skier and I purchased the x-wing 6 as my first set of skis, so far I am very pleased. I have been on groomed snow and ice. I was able to carve with these skis at just about any speed and they bite into ice and hold on like a rabbit dog. If you enjoy carving up the slops I recommend these skis. I would love to hear what people who have more experience think about these skis. |

Nice Written by Ski Review Guest on 2008-01-10 00:24:38
A great ski for overall performance. At higher speeds, may get a little shaky, but if you can go at those speeds confidently, you may need to upgrade to an expert kit. Good on the groomed trails, which is really where these skis are best. In the powder I suppose they could be bit better, but for the money I find them quite nice. I just bombed a bit of glade powder and backcountry in Utah, and these held up quite well. Overall a nice ski, good everywhere and in turning. Buy them while you still can, they're on sale! |
Good Carver Written by Ski Review Guest on 2009-02-23 23:16:40
If you're a beginner or a good intermediate or an older advanced skier looking for an easy cruiser, the X Wing 6 will fill the bill. Roll your ankles and the ski will start the carve. A soft flex and very light weight combine to make this a very easy ski to turn. A bit shaky at high speeds, but that's the compromise. With the integrated binding, it's a good deal, and on sale in this economy, it's a bargain. |

Great skis, for reasonable price. It's my second season with thems. It's optimal choice for beginers and intermadiates who prefere groomed trails. |
