Niche ski company Zag Skis have reportedly gone into liquidation following the withdrawal of a key shareholder and investor. Currently in administration, Zag will be officially liquidation on the 4th of October, with remaining stock and intellectual property being auctioned.

Having lost a major guarantor, potential for significant credit disappeared along with it and caused Zag to cease trading.

Company spokeperson Guillaume Brassod was keen to stress that manufacturing issues which had affected parts of the Zag ski range, including the Rouge in particular, had been solved. Brassod indicated that the current state of affairs did not mean that this was an end to the production of Zag skis.
