Line Anthem (2007)

These skis are okay but if you want some really nice skis get some Public Enemies. They are a lot of fun.

I'd say they were better than the Public Enemy but that's my own opinion. They are lighter and butter more easily. Corks are much easier to do and the graphics look great.

I have both this and the public enemy, and this is definately better. the PE is more all mountain where the anthem is park. if u are a true park skier, go for the anthem but if you enjoy going elsewhere on the mountain, choose the PE

the anthem didnt come in a 151. thats the invader and the invader comes in the same sizes as the anthem but with the sidecut displayed for the 151

I've never ski'd this ski but have just bought this years model. With the addition of Carbon Ollieband technology, Butter Zone Technology and Symmetric Flex & Sidecut these ski's have to be awsome. I spoke to a Line employee who has already ski'd these a few times, he says they can go anywhere tackle anything and skiing switch is unbelievable ! Mach 10 switch not a problem !

A lot of people say line suck but I totally disagree. They make the best park specific ski out there and on top of that all the EP skis are also awesome. I've ridden practically everything and now I only ride line! Carbon ollieband, elliptical sidecut (for that perfect cork), butter zone, etc. What else could you want. I also think they blow the PE out of the water cause I also have ridden those.

I got 178 08 anthems, there soooo sick, much stiffer than the invaders. Its perfect for ripping fresh in the morning and switch into park after everything is tracked. The edge holds when your ripping groomers too if you have nothing better to do. 
 
I center mounted my old pair of MO2's and there is no comparison as to how much easier it is to ski switch with the anthems.  
 
I think line is the most progressive company in free skiing today, they listen to skiers and make all these new changes that no other companies are doing.  
 
hahaha, public enemies, every pair I have ever seen is practically mounted on the tails of the ski they look ridiculous.

I am a young kid who like to ski park. I hit both jumps and jibs. I need a soft ski that is soft enough for my size 5'2 95lb. I ski PA so not much powder. I am not all park though, so i want a ski that is atleast ok at holding a edge and stuff.

I would say, 
get the Dynastar Trouble makers. 
i ski the Washington DC area and these skis are perfect.

i am 5'10 and 175lbs, but i expect to get taller/heavier (im only 16). can the invaders support my weight or would i be better off with the anthems? 
also, do these hold an edge? i ski in indiana (i know it sucks) so ill be doing alot of ice, slush, and man made, but i do go out with the fam to the deep pow every once in awhile. do the anthems handle in bad snow (not always soft)? i get the impression that thinner skis handle better on less soft stuff.

with the anthems you can effectivly jib the entire mountain. they are more buttery then a bulk butter package from costco

im wondering if there is really much difference between the anthems and the invaders becouse im gonna end up buying one of them but i dont know witch. They both have my size but im just curious as to some of the differences. right now im riding k2 scilencers (i cant really take them seriously anymore after trying my friends invaders for a day) and they just arnt working out in terms of weight and flex (corks are barley achieveable) so im just wondering if anyone can piont out some pros and cons of the invaders and the anthems.

anthems are wider under foot, giving better float in softer snow and more stability on harsh landings, the invader i hear is a little softer flex too, which would prolly be less forgiving on a heavier rider

can the anthems ski on the rest of the mountain or would the PE's be a safer choice. I like hiting the park and carving down the slopes.

You can shred the rest of the mountain with the anthem no problem. They preform best in the park but if you wanna take em' other places go ahead. The public enemies are alot stiffer and heavier; they work better in the back country where your flying off rocks and stuff.
