After a weekend leak, Monday brings official news that the Amer Sports Corporation is to move is newly combined winter and outdoor operation to Ogden, Utah. The news brings up to 230 jobs to Ogden, only a short 30 minute drive away from the Snowbasin Ski Area. In addition to flagship brands Salomon and Atomic, other Amer Sports brands include Bare, Bonfire, Dynamic, Amvic Oxygen Suunto and Volant amongst others. Ogden is no stranger to housing winter sports companies, with Descente, Goode, Kahuna, Nidecker, Scott USA and Snowsports Interactive already in residence.
