Wow! Written by Ski Review Guest on 2007-12-24 22:17:31
I am 5' 10" and 167 pounds, and just got these in 155cm. They are the 2008 model and marked 113-64-97 (12m). They are light/dark blue and white top sheets with sort of a "shattered look" graphic. They have the Look PX12Ti with lifter plates. The factory tune came through with zero degrees of bottom edge bevel which I felt was very twitchy and actually felt scary. After 2 runs I had to stop skiing them and revert to other skis as they were too uncomfortable for me due to being so twitchy. That night I put one degree of bottom edge bevel on them, and then the next day they were FANTASTIC! This ski is extremely responsive and has unbelievable edge hold. In two words: Quick and Confident. Just make sure to check the tune before you ski them! |
Haven't found the edge limit yet Written by Ski Review Guest on 2009-01-13 19:44:21
Crank them over as far as you want, you won't find the limit. Able to turn short slalom turns or wide GS turns. Bend them to the turn you want. Great Eastern hardpack to some powder(most I have done is about 6-10 inches of powder). Twitchy going straight...but who does that? A great ski if you are looking for a ski you can carve at will. It even floats in(some) powder. Don't get enough deep powder to determine if it can be skied in the deep stuff......probably not. Absolutley unreal carving ski. |
