I've skied these 40+ days on everything the East has thrown at me to include small woodland animals and kitchen appliances...these skis rock except at absolute breakneck speeds where they get away from me. |

I skied the 189 all '08 and '09 season and this is a sturdy ski that will give you a good time anywhere on the mountain. Its particularly comfortable in versatile back country areas, and performs very well on steep terrain with deep snow. I don't recommend the 189 for a resort ski because its not good in moguls or the park, but I skied the 2006-2007 pistols in the 2007-2008 season and they absolutley owned the resort, so I think its safe to say the 169 would rock the park and the big mountains for the average sized guy. |
