What to buy?

I'm looking at buying skis and bindings for the first time. I've been recommended either the Line Blend 2007 or the Head Xenon 10. Both with Mojo 12 bindings.

I'm 5'11 and weigh 231lbs (104 kg). A good intermediate skier, that never skis in the parks and nothing off piste yet, except to dabble on the side of the piste.

If you don't ski off-piste except the piste margins and don't ski park, why are you looking at specialist twintips?

I'd go for something like the Salomon X-Wing Tornado (Or W-Wing 10 if you're on a budget) - great on-piste, wide enough to handle an off-piste dabble, stable and really good fun skis
