I had a pair of 05 originals with EPXL fibreglass option and had so much fun riding those wild stallions that i swore i'd never ride other ski's again such was my new found love, and reckoned i probably wouldn't have to given the truly bombproof feel off piste and in the park. I've gone back on my word and acquired the new originals, (only reason really is to change bindings), with softer flex from my first pair and more forgiving in a good way, although i do miss the thrill of being thrown out my stance and having to recover them if slightly caught out. I watch carvers on carve skis and carve by them with aplomb. Off piste in the pow is a pleasure, through crud is effortless. I'm often asked about the skis in European queues and more than once ski tecs have picked them up outside bars and paid respect after a few 'tec-flexes'. Only negative i could say is that on very hard groomers, the skis do tend to skid out but those conditions ain't what i'm in it for. I can't say enough about these skis, i want to personally shake the hands of the designers. Top drawer Prior! | |
