I was lucky enough to have both a pair of Punishers and Missions to ride in April this year in Les Arcs.
On balance I have to say I prefered the Punishers, finding I didn't have to work them as much as the Missions, this suited me this year as my fitness was way down. Off piste conditions were heavy but again the Punishers had the edge feeling easier to get up and out of the crud.
In conclusion I would say the Punishers won the day for me but had I been feeling stronger and fitter things would have been different.
I am 90kg 51 years old and the lengths tested were 182cm (Punisher) and 183cm (Mission)
Punishers had Salomon Z12 standard bindings and the Missions had the rental version |
