Manufacturing defect = waste if money

I bought the 2007 Volkl Bridge last year, and sure enough, after about 7 days of skiing, the appoxy in the tip of both skis split. Apparently this happens when I stomped a landing, and the ski tips crossed. Sure enough, Volkl says this is NOT their fault, and refuse to do anything about it. So I blew a bunch of cash on some skis that lasted a week.

Never getting volkl skis again.

Right...it happened the same to me last year. I even sent photos to the company distributor but of course they never assumed it was a fabrication defect. They recommended me to ski with my legs wider opened. Volkl Bridge was a really disapointing thing.
