Volkl Tigershark 10 Foot (2008)

Looking to buy the ski.

Absolute performance without the hard work of a true race ski. It will hold an edge on anything. Carves like a knife and likes to go fast, but easy enough to ski all day. Has nice rebound out of turns and the more you push it the better it works. The best I've found for groomers here in the east, but does real well in crud too! You will love it!!

I can't compare to any other skis out there currently simply because I haven't demoed any of them. However, compare to my old Atomic 9.14 this is a lot more stable at high speeds. One thing for considerations... Volkls are heavy. So carrying your skis maybe an issue especially if you need to haul your kids skis as well. But it rides smooth and holds an edge on any icy slopes. It's a great skis for eastcoast.
