Written by Dan Morgan, Tuesday, 23 March 2004

A nice quiver as ever from Rossignol this year.  A quick rundown of whats new:

Rossignol Scratch:

FS standard, BC (powder), PRO (for tricks) and the ECO (for beginners) make up the Scratch freestyle line from Rossignol this coming season.

Heavily influenced by snowboard design, the Scratch FS features;

1. A THC core consisting of isocore, wood and microcell enhance responsiveness, liveliness and shock absorption.
2. Inclined sidewalls offer a larger gliding area and reduced volume speeding up edge to edge times.
3. A rebound tip helps the ski react to hardpack and landings, and offers a extra kick when taking off.
4. Rocking chair effect aids balance and float in powder.

Another change of colours in claret and sky blue this year although we are told that base graphics for the Scratch FS will vary from one pair to another.
