Not content with equipping their skis with Intelligence torsional stiffness technology for the last decade, Head are introducing KERS in 2011 to all their race skis. Anyone who watched Formula 1 last season will be aware of KERS, and the basic theory is the same. KERS stores energy in the ski that is generated in the turn and releases it during the exit of the turn, stiffening the tail longitudinally for greater acceleration.

Sounds great – we are certainly interested to see how it stacks up.
