Nothing in the way of noteworthy innovation or new ski lines from Stockli for 2011. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it?
The number of women specific models get’s a welcome boost and balance - with practically every range bar race now having a lady specific model, e.g. the Stockli Stormrider LXL, as opposed to a specific ladies range.
This years Stockli Cross are next years Stockli Laser Cross, with the ski cross range now being part of the race Laser family.
It’s been a while since we last took a new Stockli quiver out for a spin, and we’ve always loved skiing Stockli skis. People buy Stockli because they ski fantastically well but if we had to point out something we’d like changed we’d ask for a fresh look at the designs adorning the Rotor and the Stormrider.
Choose carefully though and you won’t go wrong here in 2011 - great skis are great skis.
