Manufacturer's Description

EHP - By Eric Hjorleifson, “I designed the EHP with a goal to create a ski that utilizes the concept behind reverse camber/side-cut skis but still incorporates traditional ski design to provide a versatile stable platform on and in all types of snow.  The long gradual tip/tail radius /shape give the ski great flotation in powder and enable you to wash, plane and scrub your turns creating a surf like sensation.  This long tip/tail shape also gives the EHP a shorter running surface making them more responsive and easier to turn on hard snow.  The tail shape was designed to maximize performance in powder snow.  The pintail shape sinks into the snow allowing a more forward mounting position giving the ski a much more responsive, centered and balanced fee.”  The 193 comes with a blunter tail geared more for bigger mountain lines.  Original artwork by Eric himself.

Ski Review:

This is an awesome ski in soft snow. Got a good deal two months ago on line and purchased without demoing.  Have since ridden them on a two day heli trip in BC as well as several good pow days in the Oregon Cascades.  Great in light or heavy powder and leftover crud, they float great, are very nimble for a bigger board, and are stiff and damp enough to handle speed excellently.  Although they have virtually no sidecut, the edges are burly and will hold on hardpack. Fantastic and fun ski!!!
