Ski Review: This is a dark horse in the piste charging pack! Admittedly even we are scratching our heads a bit at the sizing system, choosing a COLOUR (Or ‘CODE”) rather than ski length, but roll with it, because the reward is a super agile, eye watering fast piste ski. Just looking at the flat back tail gives you an advanced warning about what this ski is built for, SPEED. The sidewalls can be waxed too, so for those agile enough to have the skis on the full tilt on the turns, it reduces stiction in the snow, giving you every extra bit of speed possible. A reasonably stiff ski, and not the lightest, but turns this all into raw power on the carve, and for the advanced and expert carver this has to be at the top of any wish list. looks pretty stunning too, if like me you were a fan of the MATRIX films, the code down the top sheet brings back memories.

Ski Review:

I just came back from 3 days of skiing at Whiteface, Lake Placid.  Conditions ranged from 3 inches of fresh to bullit proof ice.  These skis are amazing!  At slow to medium speeds they ski fairly normal for a good ski.  However, at warp 8 they hold an edge and are more stable than any other ski I have skied in the past.  The very slight tip and tail rocker keep the ski from being deflected by crud at high speeds.  I thought my Volkl Kendo was stable, but this is much more stable.  However, it requires good forward pressure and never getting in the back seat.  Following these rules will provide you a 70+ Km/h ride like never before!  I even found them very good in moguls if going fairly fast.

My only issue was having difficulites skiing slower with my daughter.  They don’t like to slide turns at slower speeds.

If you want a cruise missle of a ski, this is it!

p.s.:  I also love the Matrix top sheet.
