Manufacturer's Description

For skiing loaded pillows in Hokaido or launching from hand-sculpted features in the backcountry of Tignes, Julien Lange always opts for one ski, the Multiplayer. Amplid has perfectly blended the worlds of freeriding and freestyle into one ski with true kill-it-all DNA.

The Multiplayer has a directional, setback camrock which sets down big landings with ease, and its generous, early rise nose and Floatation Tips, which pack a lot of surface area, generate plenty of lift for skiing in deep snow. Basalt Suspension Strips keep tip flap in check, but the tips are intentionally softer than those of a freeride specific ski to encourage creative butters and more forgiving landings in deep snow when a stiffer tip might dive.

On harder snow the Multiplayer’s comparatively tight sidecut transforms this mid-fat backcountry specialist into a credible carver.
