Manufacturer’s Description of the Armada JJ:

"It’s only fitting that one of the most innovative ski designs available comes from one of the most innovative skiers in the sport’s history. JP Auclair changed the game in terrain parks and then changed the game in the backcountry, so his ski has to feature our game-changing Elf Shoe Tech. With rocker at the tip and tails, camber under foot, and strategically located width, the JJ floats like a yacht in deep snow and carves like a three-fin thruster to the lift line. With JP, skiing will never be the same. With the JJ, skis will never be the same, either."

Skied the JJ all last season and I can’t say anything negative about them. In powder I don’t think they can be matched by anything out there right now, but they are also great in other conditions, with the exception of hard ice. In the trees, with their balance and pivot capability, they are soooo fun! I could go on, but… if you are considering a powder/all mountain ski, either buy these (get the 185 cm if you are over 5’ 10”), or at least demo a pair. My wife skis on the 175 cm and is now fearless in the steepest, deepest, and trees. They ski short due to the tip & tail rocker.
