I bought these skis prior a trip to the Himalayas in february 2011. This ski did not meet my expectations for use in Big Mountain Offpist conditions. I ended up renting Pontoons, to get value out of the trip. Back home, I invested in a new pair of skis (Völkl Kuro, 195cm),  better suited for Big Mountain conditions.

However, I will give my Atomic Drifters a second chance, they might work better in the European Alps, since “pow” and “POW” are two different things =)

The ski works pretty good in the pist, but demands jump turns to not “dig down” in massive (light) powder conditions.
