Manufacturer's Description

camox freebird
light - efficient - fast

The extraordinary revolution in ski touring and mountaineering equipment over the last few years has lead to the development of much wider skis.  Always prioritising skiability, we have spent a lot of time developing a model to fit these requirements : fat and alpine style, but without neglecting the demands of the climb.  A 98 mm underfoot width, this model was built to the black crows’ high standard of skiability.

Thanks to it’s Single Beak camber, the camox freebird model retains the versatility and the edge control of the camox all mountain.  With the freebird gene 2 and it’s woodcore covered in bi- and tri-directional carbon fibre, the core is considerably lighter than the all mountain version.  The camox freebird is a high technology ski offering a dream combination of lightness and float.  Just as happy when in deep snow as carving with it’s tell tale precision, this ski knows how to be aggressive as well as how to enjoy any kind of terrain.
