Manufacturer's Description
The orb version of the all mountain is a true all-terrain ski. This mid-fat ski feels equally as comfortable on smooth snow as on changeable or wind-blown surfaces. The orb has a very good hold and is a very reassuring ski which suits all uses. The orb is a 60% all-terrain and 40% piste ski. With a longbow flat tail & double rayon tip on a 90mm ski, it combines both accessibility and manoeuvrability. A great all-round lively ski, the orb looks like a free-rider with its tip of between 123 and 125mm and yet loves dynamic carving with a great rebound on hard snow thanks to its traditional camber. Very responsive with incomparable turning precision, this ski is strongly recommended for passionate all-mountain skiers.
“What is interesting about the 90mm waist with a longbow profile underfoot is that it feels very like an alpine ski on piste, yet has an amazing float in powder. The orb allows you to ski aggressively on hard snow and still enjoy deep bluebird powder days. If we had seen this ski in the lift queue a few years ago, we would have asked : “Wow, what’s that enormous ski?” which is no longer the case today, since the orb feels as much at ease in powder as on the piste,” says Camille Jaccoux.
