Ski Review: I got tired of hauling heavier and heavier gear up the same old mountains I used to ski perfectly fine in old leather boots and Ramer bindings. So I swithced to the lightest set up I could affored, Guru skis, Scrapa F1 boots, and Dynafit speed bindings. I cut at least 6 lbs off my rig and it feels geat. Skis hold up to survival crud with out being tossed around, they float my big but through deep snow, and they can jump turn through steep icy gullies. The only thing i notice bad is that they are a little loud in icy junk, so i turn up the Ipod.
