AN AWESOME SKI…HAVE ABOUT 20 DAYS ON THEM….CAN NOT FIND A CONDITION, A TURN OR A SPEED THAT THEY DO NOT HANDLE EASILY…TURN INTIATION IS EASY AND YET EDGE HOLD IS SOLID THROUGH THE BELLY OF THE TURN…ALSO VERY QUICK EDGE TO EDGE FOR AN 85 MM WAIST….JUST TRY THEM

Demo this ski At Steamboat and hated them. Even considered riding the gondola down. Changed to a different brand and enjoyed the rest of the day.

I had the Dynastar Sultan 85s out today conSultan with the sloppy slurpie slope and was amazed at the edge control. I thought the snow soup would eat these up!!! But!! they floated through like speed boats - the wide tip makin waves all the way down - twas in total bliss. Highly recommend this ski for powder pounding too - really light and pops on each turn - total fundom.

Demoed at Loon! Great hard packed performance! Nice ice hold. Defiantly made you want to be in the front seat. I’ll see in other conditions, but as I can go from ice to powder in a run, I need something that will perform well in all conditions.

Skied this for a week after a crazy week of sheer rain, ice, to 16 inches fresh powder and then to packed powder and groomers. This ski was so diverse in all of these conditions especially being from the east coast did not expect ice at the bird but it happened and this ski held its edge and blasted through the crud balls. Jumped to alta for the 14 inch of pow and it floated brilliantly after not being on powder that deep in several yrs. Finally ripped the packed pow, grooms and glades the last two days where the ski is energetic, soft enough for trees, yet lively and quick to turn. VERY pleased.

I had been using Dynastar Contact ST09 for about 5 years but I really outgrew them as my skills improved. After researching I bought these skis on clearance last summer (for about $500 w/bindings) and I love them. They really stay on top of powder and still carve on piste. I’m even doing a lot more moguls than before and enjoying the glades for the first time.
