A really fun ski. Its softness makes it forgiving in tight chutes and steeps but somewhat less powerful in the open runs and bowls than a stiffer ski. Edge to edge response and hardpack performance is typical for its width.

Using it for second season. Excellent in all powder and soft snow conditions, even at groomed snow but very demanding when I hit some “sun-baked snow”.

Used it a few times now. Very pleased with the handling, it has the special elan rebound. It needs a lot of effort but gives back more joy.
In hip deep pow I wanted I had a wider ski, but on the slopes and in knee deep pow a very good ski.

I skied on the m777 about 50 days during the 07/08
season in fernie, CA and in Lac de tignes, FR.
Iīm perfectly happy with it, it handles well in powder and on the slopes, a very good all round ski, many people donīt realise that Elan makes such enormous skis!

I have been riding these green monsters in 184cm for more than 2 years (I’am 90kg, 185cm). I have them fitted with Fritschi Diamir Freeride + and use them also for backcountry. Over all I am truly satisfied. They can handle nearly any kind of terrain with ease. i.e. I tried even on piste aggressive carving, and did not sense any instability or so. The most I appreciate them in technically difficult terrain like icy couloirs or so. To be perfectly fair, there are two points where the skis have a little gap: 1. High speed straight ride on piste - they get fairly unstable (but that is expectable for this type of ski) and 2. high speed freeride ... the same unstable behaviour appears. Otherwise, one of the best skis I have ever had!!!
