I bought a 168 cm demo pair of these skis after trying to ski for 2 days on my 13 year old 185cm Fischer’s. I am not an advanced skier and the conditions were very sloppy (machine-groomed granular and 10+ degrees C above zero). I noticed an immediate improvement with the Elan’s- I could cut right through the sloppy stuff and carve anywhere I wanted on the hill. The skis are extremely solid and there was no chattering at all (I’m about 240lbs). I can’t wait till it snows later this year so I can get out on these again.
