I am 42, weight 90, average condition, skill 8/10.  Tried it last spring at Fischer’s test. If you do not have enough power to hold a grip and press it, do not ride it ! It is fantastic ski whose limits were to far away from mine. Holds grip like in rails, edges fantastic, quite precise both in entry and exit of the curve and absolutely stabile at high speed. Do not fool around with it, since it’s tolerance trashold is rather low. It just cries to be pressed and skied FAST !!!!

RC4SC I did not manage to get, but had RC4 competition two yrs ago. Nice and sweet ski, but too much of a slalom soul for my taste. Worth every penny you pay for it. Forgives mistakes, yet gives nice response.  Not too stabile on high speeds in long arcs.

I’m 28 weight 73, used the 170cm skill 7/10. Heavy ski, fast, much grip, also on ice. Off piste performance so good in my opinion. They require much from your legs, so it’s pretty hard working (maybe also because i’m not so heavy) so I can still feel my muscles today! But it’s worth the suffer!

I have the 2009’s but posted a review on the 2008’s. Exact same ski. I would beg to disagree with above review… it may feel a touch heavy, although, imo, it requires little effort to turn if you have good skiing skills. They do like to be cranking in and out of turns(as much as these like to be skied smooth like a cruiser too), so it is one of those skis you are wanting to lay it over and turn. On the Progressor 9, You get all the feels of skiing the Race Carvers with a touch more forgiveness and a wider platform under foot. Its the pure racing skis that I always worry about buying for fear that those would be too demanding to enjoy all day. I would qualify the Progressor 9 as outstanding cruiser skis for good veteran skiers, although if you are aiming to kill the competition in the beer leagues and Town GS races than get the Fischer RC Hole. Its pretty much is (or should be) marketed to buyers who are looking something beyond the old RX9, but wanting something more versatile than the Race Carver.
