Fischer Red Heat RF SP (2009) Written by Ski Review Guest on 03/26 at 05:48 AM
I just tried these out at Squaw Valley Resort, and I’ve got to admit that I was very pleased with how they performed. These are advertised as intermediate to advanced skies, but I consider myself an expert skier, and these things were just a blast on all types of terrain. It’s a very solid and stable ski. Also, I noticed that they grip really well on ice and on the steeps, and they love to scream through the groomers. They seem to have a calm composure not matter what you try to do to them, if that makes any sense. Maybe that’s just a Fischer thing. If I were to find a fault in them, I would say that they would not be my first pick as a mogul ski. Also, I have no idea how they perform in 6+ inch powder, since there was just light dusting of snow.

I just bought a pair of fischer red heat skis and tried them in lake louise and have to say they performed exceptionally well in all terrains. they are so responsive and a pleasure to carve with, offering immediate braking on any gradient and are really quick on the doenhill. thanks to Craig in Abominal on 17th ave calgary for hooking me up
