I am 5’9 145lbs and skied on the 163.  They are lots of fun on hard snow and groomers, as they have tons of grip and love to carve.  However, they are terribly inept on anything else.  As soon as the snow gets soft or deep, these skis blow.  If you’re skiing only on groomers and hard pack, then I would definitely recommend them.  But if you want something more versatile for the entire mountain and for varied conditions, then I would look elsewhere.
