K2 Fujative (2007)

Does anyone have these? I just bought a pair of 05-06 Fujative’s and was wondering how they are?

I consider myself an intermediate closer to advanced skier who enjoys everything from moguls to the park. I’m in PA so i spend a lot of my skiing in less than stellar conditions. I’m considering a variety of twin tips between 1080 Foils, Fujatives, along with most of the other choices available. I’m 5’10 170 lbs and prefer a slightly shorter ski after tearing up my ACL a few years back. What size and model would best fit what I need?

At 5’10 170 lbs, the fujatives will be way too soft and you are gonna be washing out and buzzing the whole way down the mountain. Fujatives are definitely a 100% park ski. You need the Public Enemy at a 169. You will absolutly love these skis. They rule the entire mountain.

The K2 Fujative is soft for absolutely the funnest butters in the park. They added rivets to the tip and tails from last year and an ugly graphic that looks like vomit too.

I have the 06-07 model of the K2 Fujative..there seems to be talk about the 07-08 version but not a lot about the one I have..Are the any good? I acquired these skis…they’re still in the cellophane! Are they likely to be any good on piste as well as off piste for a teenage lad? Would really appreciate ne views on this topic!

I am 190 pounds and 5’10” I like to ski all over the mountain, should I get the Fujative or the Silencer?

These are AMAZING in the park and pretty good actually everywhere else.  Carves pretty well although there is alot of noise and rattling at high speeds because they are so soft.  The strang thing is that they carve better riding switch.  But I would reccommend them to anyone who skis mostly park because these are probably some of the best skis to buy!

I’m about 6’0”, 155 lbs. and want to get into park skiing, I’m an intermediate skier looking to get into freestyle. I’m looking at the Rossignol Scratch Sprayer FS but I’m not sure if I should get the Silencers or Fujatives instead?

what ski should i get i hit the park up and mostly “out of bounds” and i was wondering between these and the silencers. What ones do u guys think??

They are kick ass in the park, the pow, and every where else you would want to bring them. If you can’t make up your mind I would just go get these and do yourself a big favor.

The fujatives are awesome in the park and only the park. The public enemys are a very very stiff ski and not ideal n e where. If u wanted a twin for out of park powder go with the silencers. U like pipe and rails then get the fujatives. I did and i don’t regret it. Its forgiving and slides nice but when i carve the tips and tales are a little loose. You don’t drive a ferarri off road and you don’t take a park ski out of the park. Fujatives the best ski to own if you have a 2 ski collection

i was hoping for a better back country ski,but you cant beat it for park and jib!

i am 5’6’’ 140 lbs Need a ski good for park but mostly for all mountain i like the public enemys but i think that they might be to stiff for my weight i also like the foils but they are kinda heavy for the park

also i am a great skier

im think about getting fugatives but i already have a pair of line chronics which i think are way to stiff for all mountain but i want somthing i can use on the park to

i have heard nothing but great things about these skis. they are great for grinding and buttering. all i can hope is that they will live up to the hype!

Im 14 and 6’2” at 170 lbs. I need a park-jib ski that can also perform all-mountain. I am an Intermediate level skier and am buying my first twin tips. Which skis are better for me Public Enemy RB or Fujative?

i am 5’6” an about 130 pounds and i just got new 07’s i want a ski thatwill do amazing in the park but also in out of bounds and the rest of the montain? Is this my ski?

ive heard so many good things about these skis but i want to know if they would still do good in other places of the mountain…i like to carve and do big turns but i love the park…I am 5’7” and 140 pounds.

I am wondering if I should get the Fujatives or the Silencers. I am into park and jumps with a little pipe. i’m 5’5’’ anfd wondering if the 169’s would be a good match or if they are to big. Write Back

i just got them ... havent tried them on the slopes yet…

I rode a pair as demos and bought them on the spot. I am 6"3 and 260lbs but these things hold fine. I will never run rails or parks but the bumps and tight bumps is where they shine. Good on harder snow with slalom turns..ok with gs coasting but are noodly in pow. Great for the quick turns on harder pack

i have a question for those who bought these skis. Where did you mount your bindings? I had mine mounted 1 cm back from center but then i realized that core center on k2’s is far from the actual center of the ski. Just wondering what others did and how they ride. I’ve only been able to go out once so far….

Yo im 5’ 4’’  110 lbs and these skis are great. In the woods they are very responsive. On cliffs and in the park they have a large enough under foot to help you stomp those landings. For the ice they hold an edge. Moguls are very easy and even though these are advertised as park skis they can go anywhere on the mountain. And to the guy about where to mount the bindings i gottem 1 cm back too and it dont make much of a difference

I’m just starting to get into freestyle skiing. i like these skis alot. i’m 5’ 6” and weigh about 130 lbs.  i heard these skis can be buttery and i want to know if they are good for me. please respond.

I want to buy some freestyle skis that will benefit me in both park and piste, but mostly park and jibbing. I am stuck between Silencers, Fujatives and PE’s. I tend to ski alot on an inside ski slope (real snow), so i was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips or advice what to get. Im 6ft 2 and weigh about 70-80kg. Please Respond.

Defanitly stick with K2 but make sure you dont get a kids ski because they are soft and not as durable.  like a fugative is def a park kids ski.  i had them last year, and i broke them almost in half and i weigh 170.  you’re gonna pay more but make sure its an adult ski!

i am 2’ 4’’ 300 pounds. Are these good skis for me?

I bought these skis on a killer sale at a local ski shop without really doing any research.  I now know that they are intended to be a park and pipe ski, which i do not do as much as groomers and bumps.  will they still be good skis for me?

Bought these last year for the park,,,but ended up doing everything with these. These skis do anything you could ever want out of a ski and are the best i’ve ever owned…also recommend technica agent boots.

the fujatives 06 were the first skis I ever rode, besides my snowboard. I had a few lessons before, but got away fine on these. I don’t do tricks or anything yet because I am a noob. But they do well on the normal piste, although on tough surface they lack a bit of grip, plus they’re very soft in tip and tail. easy to learn on, but as I said… there not intended for carving. Maybe this year the pops and grinds will be on the menu. I now also got some (longer) 2nd hand Dogens for riding the whole mountain. Just as long I am having fun it’s okay.

I bought these last year and used them last season. these are amazing in the park… and only in the park.  Don’t believe anybody who says they work as all mountain.  These are 90% park, 10% other stuff.  Because they have an easy flex, they don’t hold an edge on ice and they chatter at high speeds.  Having said that, the flex pattern is amazing in park and makes landings really easy.  Bottom line: don’t buy these if they’re going to be your only pair.  If you want an exclusively park setup, go for these.

is everything about the 2008 fujative the same as this (the 2007) fujative with the exception of the graphic?

I ski the backcountry with these babies and am always surprised at their responsiveness in the deep powder. They turn nicely and are super forgiving in the trees. The tips are pretty buttery, so don’t expect to crush a steep line going switch!

honestly these skis suck…the edges get worn way too easily, the bases are sticky on boxes and the wax is easily stripped off, they have a really awkward flex pattern to get used to…bc the tails are super stiff and the tips are really soft and flexible so is you hit any sludge u are deff bailing forward, they literally have no flotation in the pow so if u like having to stay on groomers and groomers ONLY these are the skis for you, also did i mention how great these are on ice…ohhhh wait they suck on ice too. What about the fact that theyre supposed to be mounted like a stiff race ski….while not being a STIFF RACE SKI…bc its kinda hard to land fakie if ur landing on ur tails. Well their not all bad since they are a park specific ski theyre alright from 5-20ft hits…but anything over that they can get a little bit sketch.

i need a ski that is mostly for park, but i also like the deep pow. will the fujatives work as well in deep pow as they do in the park?

these were made as pep fujas’s park skis but there great in all mountain, high speeds are a bit chattery but the carve is to die for they float right up there in pow and never let you down carving down the mountain some of the best on the market for the park backcountry and cliffs are epic with these i recommend them to any type and level of skier whether you 4’0 300 pounds or 8’0 100 pounds these are amazing
