I just got the new silencer (the red ones). I think that might be a pic of the old ones because the new are not like that. (3/4 black and the tip white) I tried them out only once and they are good (for the price). It is not the most advanced ski out there but if you are an itermediate and want something that can get you anywhere and in mostly any condition, it is a good choice. They are not as wide as most twin tip but that’s okay with me, I guess it is easier to carve.

Mine look like that on the bottom but the top is black on black knives. I have been racing for a while now and I wanted to get in the park so I bought the K2 SILENCERS! I love them. I have caught on quick and they have done really well so far. However they scratch very easily! But so far that is the ONLY con I have!

All of you people that like to snake between trees and ride around like fools then buy this ski. If you enjoy to ride off of the side of park jibs and get in real park skiers way than you should buy these.

I’ve had these for a few seasons now.  They are fantastic for someone in the beginner to intermediate level and are fair priced for that level.  The top layer will scratch pretty easily, but other than that they’re pretty hardy.  Though they don’t excel in any particular category, they can do it all (park, piste, pow, you name it) which makes them a great one quiver ski for someone who doesn’t ski much or is just getting into skiing.  These ones and the 07’s are by far the coolest looking models and are pretty much the same as the newer ones. Hope this helps!
