Ski Review:
This ski is epic!!! I’ve beat the S*** out of it. And it gave me some back. Not to say that it doesn’t forgive, it does but damn I’ve got out of shape on ice and got spanked. I have my bindings mounted 1cm back from factory center so i can still ‘carve’ but people tell me i’m ‘slavring’ (sliding/carving). I’ve tried a couple 3’s but have yet to stomp it. Many head aches were had.
Thanks to El Nino and growing older/wiser/more experienced i to took them into Sawmill Canyon and they ripped! 3 feet of what seemed like endless white stuff. Granted there are way to many damn trees it was pretty hard to turn. But that comes with speed, as with any other large ski. I’m sure if it were to be a true pow ski a pintail+rocker would help a lot. but it isn’t it’s an all mountain ski. It slides boxes, stomps kickers, rips the ‘roy, and is adequate floater in pow.
I wouldn’t buy it in the ads here though. I got mine off Getboards.com in person for $430 with bindings and mounted+ a dvd+ a shirt+ a Armada banner.
