I have the ‘08 version with the green mountain graphics which are slightly wider at tip and tail. These boards rip everything anywhere. At home in the powder, and rediculously stable at high speeds. Surprisingly agile in the bumps/trees and soft flex on landings. Buy them and don’t worry about the how wide they are!

I just picked up a used (three times) pair of ‘08 in 179 length (I’m 5.8 and 163 lbs.). Same ski as described in the previous post. Haven’t had a chance to try them in fresh powder yet, but expect them to be great. I did have them out in crud, old snow and small bumps, and groomers last Friday just to see how they would behave. I was amazed at their ease of turning, and the solid edge control they exhibit even on steep, firm groomers. Yet, go off in the old snow and they never hang up. They just roll over and blast through all the loose kicked up snow as if it’s not even there. Very impressive.
