I tried a pair on a 2 foot chopped up powder day and hated them. I was desperate to like them as I want to buy a pair of touring skis, but I’m sorry to say that the Iki’s failed to deal with chopped up powder and fresh powder in trees… they are just too light and too thin. To be honest I don’t see the point of making a ski this light as surely the energy saving is reduced when you have to soak up all the pressure in your legs. A great shame.
