These skis handle the groomers the best and can also ski some off piste stuff too. They are integrated with the lighter Z series bindings.

Tried these skis as well as the Z3, Metron 7 and AMC 73. All in the 165 cm length range. Ski conditions were variable, powder, crud and ice in the wind blown areas.  The skis were fairly good - fairly manoverable and good edge hold on the ice. Rating 2nd of the 4 skis tried. I was surprised by the good overall performance and the bright colors fired me up.

I have them for 3 years now: they still rock. I am girl 5’10 - ski them on 170. Perfect.  They do not let me down in quick turns or on high speed.  Carving, rutsching, all is possible.  Also on wet, slushi snow these skies are a winner.

I’m a 50 year old aggressive intermediate. I have skied the Alps of Switzerland and Austria, glaciers and the crud of the east and midwest. These skis are a god-send to my middle aged legs. I’m still able to ski most everything, with better control and confidence than ever. Heading to Utah next week and fully expect to have the ski vacation of my life. Viva la X-Wings!!!!

I got a set of X-Wings.  I haven’t wiped out yet, with them.  I have skiied so fdar on light powder, some deep powder, and also some icy conditions.  The only place I have had difficulty was on a poorly groomed black diamond section (grass & stuff poking up from below) that you wouldn’t even take a toboggan down.  Also they are my first ski after a long while away from skiing, and they make it feel like I have been skiing all tthose years.  Yeehaa X-Wings!
