Got a pair of 2011 Tornado Ti Powerlines this season after skiiing Salomon X-Screams for the past 7 years. First couple of days took a little getting used to, but once I was confident and comfortable on the ski, these things RIP. I spend the majority of my time carving on groomers, but like to bump around in the woods and the Tornado’s perform great either way. Had them out in Vail for some deep (knee to waist) powder days, and they weren’t nearly as comfortable there, but still got the job done.

Don’t get these unless you ski groomers a good amount, and like to cut precise, high speed turns. If you do, you’ll love em.
