Scott Aztec Pro (2007)

Skied these for a week. Loved them to bits. Dual radius really works and great edge grip. Much better ski than B2 can’t wait to try the Mission!

Are these skis truely twin tipped, or just turned up a little bit at the back like the Aztec Pro from the 2005/06 season?

Just skied 3 days on these and have to say they currently rate as one of my favorite skis of all time.

These were great skis in variable conditions blasting from wind swept crust to deep powder with almost unnoticeable transitions and great fun for fooling around in rain wet mush down low.

I found these to be a little bit dead underfoot when compared to the Rossignol Scratch which definitely feels more alive and provides better projection - that said these are great skis and I would definitely use them again (may even be tempted to buy a pair if I can pick them up cheap at the end of season).

In answer to the question above - the skis are not true twin tips but are a little turned up at the tails. They ride okay switch but I found them a bit twitchy in the soft crud when compared to true twins like the Rossignol (they dumped me on my behind in front of the lift queue so the above statement may just be a case of a bad workman blaming his tools!).

What a fantastic ski!

Skied deep powder in the morning, skied the piste until mid afternoon and then ran a steep gully and tree line to finish. What more could you want a ski to do in one day? 

A bit slow in a straght line but i don’t really care about that on the steeps.
