First day today on the 170 cm AC50s. WOW!! I’m 51, have been skiing a long time, and never believed that skis would make this big a difference. Today was at Monarch Mountain, a day after one foot of fresh powder. This ski made me feel like a hero in the slightly tracked deep powder and tree powder that used to challenge me on my salomon croxxmax skis. This really is a case of the skis making me better. I skied stuff that normally would intimidate me, and got more confident through the day. Really amazing in the powder and tracked powder. I did a few groomers, and these things made me get more foward and balanced, but then they just fly. Seriously fast, generating speed out of each turn. really fun. Truly amazing, and I just googled review sites, as I had to talk about it. Buy these guys! I am 5’8” 185 lbs, and the 170s felt perfect length.
