Ski Review: First of all, someone has designed a ski for a big and/or tall skier. The group I ski with are average size skiers and their thinking is making the skies that work for them, should work for me in a longer length. Geometry and tuning are more significant. I bought this ski as a year old model for the right price and I would not be dissapointed had I paid full price. I can get my weight more forward as opposed to skiing in a lower position. It makes a world of difference. The first word that comes to mind is performance. The feel of an honest hand made ski reminds me of the old explosive R series volkls but with the versitility of a modern ski. I skied it in mixed snow. Big fun in bumps and trees but can feel a bit awkward in flats and at slower speeds. Carves sweet in steeps and at higher speeds. Great ski for an agressive skier but I would not recommend it to a casual skier. The bottom line is i’m going faster than ever.
