In a joint project with Stockli and Dominique Perret, America’s Cup Class Yacht racing team Alinghi has launched a limited edition ski.

Dominique Perret, "Freerider of the Century" and the inspiration behind the Stockli Stormrider DP Pro, has been working closely with the Swiss ski manufacturer and Ernesto Bertarelli, a close friend of his, to produce the high end powder freeride ski.

Alinghi has close ties with the skiing world.  The team is made up of serveral passionate skiiers in addition to ex-competitive names such as sailing coach Pierre-Yves Jorand who was European Champion speed skier, and media officier Francine Moreillon who holds three World Champion extreme skier titles who was the double for Sophie Marceau in the classic James Bond "The World Is Not Enough".

Dominique Perret commented on the partnership: "I am very happy and proud of this opportunity to associate my ski partner Stöckli with the Alinghi adventure and thus to have provided the best ski manufacturer for this project. There are just a few turns from the mountain peaks to the ocean and we want to make them with people that hold the same values."
