Do these skis have a left and a right?

I skied the Izor 9.7’s at Breckenridge for a week this past March (they are 2006’s). They are extremely fun carving skis that tear apart groomers and bumps, and even hold their own in powder. They are fast, very easy to ski, and are without a doubt capable of impressing any expert skier out there. I picked them over Volkl 5 stars because they are a little softer making them more appealing for an all mountain skier as opposed to the 5 stars which are awesome on groomers but would be tougher to work through in powder and bumps. This was what enabled me to ski 25,000 vertical feet a day for 6 days in a row without burning myself out. Highly recommend them, especially for someone who’s looking to jump to the next level from an intermediate or advance to expert.

And no, there is no left and right, they are identical.

I own a pair of these skis and have a great time on them. There great all mountain skis and handle the conditions of either coast. I live on the east coast but have used these skis in CO. I would not give them up.

I am an intermediate skier - like black diamonds but my technique is far from perfect. My friend who is a a bit more advanced than me recommends Izor 9:7. But I can’t find my length anywhere (I am 6’, 210lb). However, I did find M9 (171cm with 410 bindings). How do they compare? I would like to shorten my turns at higher speeds on groomed slops. Also, is there any difference between ‘06 and ‘07 models?

I skiied the 9:7s 168cm last season and they tackle everything from tight SL to big GS turns, Bumps, powder and crud.  Easy to ski, very versatile and stable, fast edge to edge and probably the most fun you can have on a single pair of skis.  Generally unheard of in France so nobody knows what you’ve got - Bliss!

I purches my Izor’s in 2006 so I’ve been skiing on them for a few years now.  Great ski for the entire mountain.  I enjoy skiing mostly single and double black diamonds but at the end of the day when the quads get soft you can easily switch to the intermediate cruising trails and these ski’s leave witht he impressiuont hat they were designed for anyhting the the mountain has to offer.

My only complaint is that I pruchased the 168’s and wish I had gone with the 177’s.  At 6’0 210 they just feel a little short to me.  I’ll be upgrading them this year so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to make some.

I have skiied these for 3 yearsnow and although my technique leaves room for improvement, I tackle everything and anything with confidence on these. Make me look better than I am. Chamonix on Thursday to give them another blast.
