Manufacturer's Description

If the most important characteristic of your favorite all-mountain twin-tip is “noodle,” the Dynastar Distorter Ski is definitely not for you. However, if you like to go fast, float off lips, and slay the whole mountain on a stable, poppy platform, this ripper will provide you with top-shelf versatility and fun.

At the heart of the Distorter is Dynastar’s Springblade technology, which uses a core constructed of multiple wood layers bonded with stacked fiberglass of varying lengths that’s thicker under the bindings. This gives the ski plenty of pop and also provides excellent shock absorption on landings, so you can rip groomers and boost through the park with supreme confidence. The sandwich layup makes the Distorter plenty tough and strong on its edges, and the 22m turn radius is small enough to be manageable but plenty big enough to let you open things up and see if you can set your personal speed record. Tip and tail rocker help you float through powder, throw some surfy, smeary turns, and ride switch like a boss, so you’ll never run into terrain that you can’t totally dominate.
