Dynastar Legend 4800 2007 Ski Review

An intermediate ski in the all mountain category, and considering the popularity of the Legend series, oddly only the third model reviewed.

Ski-Review’s verdict:

Wearing new clothes for the 2007 season, the first impression of the Legend 4800 is almost ‘old school’ ski because of the tips. The 4800 is light and happy on most surfaces, but really romps home when in the fall line in the powder filled mogul fields.  So light and not a stranger to the adjective "stiff"—I was skipping down with ease.  All round use is generally very forgiving.

If you are traditional skier and can’t see the point to all these ‘fat’ skis on the market, but would like to progress to a ski that enables you to enjoy skiing the whole mountain with out the effort of a wide ski on the ice and piste, the Legend 4800 will do the trick.

These skis are incredible! I am a good skier, venturing into advanced. Extremely sharp snappy turns, edges hold great in the worst ice. Highly recommended, for the intermediate wanting a ski to grow with….outstanding!!!

I bought these last year and love them.  I didn’t ski for 10 years and these helped me get back on the mountain.  easy turns and I think they are great in the crud.  They turn easy and cut good into the ice.  i ski Maine and there is always ice somewhere on the mountain.  Great ski for those of you who want to become a better skier.
